Crud, I spelt surrounded wrong!

...if you still don't get, then cover the tiles surrounding tiles A and B.You get the same shades of gray right? Since the human brain can only judge things by comparing,A seems black when surroundded by white tiles and B appears to white be when surrounded by black.

It's true! They are the same colour as each other. However! They are NEITHER BLACK NOR WHITE!
